With a deep commitment to our alma mater
and sharing those beliefs in keeping alive the spirit of the alumni Clubs,
we, at Club Wharton de México, A.C., participated in the Alumni Leadership
Conference (ALC) in May of 2005 in Philadelphia in order to keep abreast of
the different viewpoints and to be able to apply these experiences in our
Club’s organization.
Over the last two years the board of
the Alumni Association has paid special attention to creating systems and
templates that can be duplicated throughout the Wharton network. Tama Smith,
WG'90, our board's incoming president, has reinvigorated the ALC, an annual
forum for club presidents during which best practices from around the globe
are shared.
This year it was Mr. Gerardo Hamilton WG´80
who represented us.
In all, it was a very fulfilling
experience.
